We all have a journey to health and a higher state of well being and mine has been long and challenging as I know so has many of yours.

 

The big turning point for me was when Youtube personalities shared their passion for, knowledge of and experience with raw fruit and vegetables. It altered my life's course and I officially went high raw May 2012 and inspired my 22 year old daughter and husband to do the same!

 

What we have experienced since then has been so beautiful, so joyful, so life altering that we can't waIt to see what 2013 has in store for us.

 

This page is dedicated to sharing the bliss that raw fruit and vegetables brings to one's life and a higher level of living which looks to kindness and compassion as the foundation on which it is built.

 

Let us continue to inspire and support one another through kindness and understanding and by being a living example of what it means to be; Blissfully Raw.

 

Let's do it together! As brothers and sisters in life.

- Grow our own veggies and fruit in whatever way we can

- Collect fresh spring water for drinking

- Support local Farmer's Markets

- Start an Organic Produce Co-op in our communities

- Stop being a product of the media and popular culture

 

The easiest way to achieve this is to not look at magazines, newspapers/ news t.v. shows, television commercials, advertising of any kind. You may not think these have an influence on you, but in my life they influenced my food choices, my buying choices, my food cravings, my feelings on my appearance and the general state of the world. In no way does this suggest we live ignorantly. On the contrary. I feel more thoughtful, more aware than ever because i can stop to listen to the multitude of other sources aside from mass media.

 

Once you have taken out mass media from your life;

Try listening and observing. This is a state of being that will make you feel lighter, more calm, grateful, safe, peaceful, supported, loved, understood, like your eyes and heart have opened and energetic.

 

Incorporate fresh air and nature into your regular routine. Challenge yourself physically with activities you love or try something new you have always wanted to try. Or try a physical activity you thought you never wanted to try, to see what happens. You might surprise yourself and really like it or it might open a whole new set of doors for you.

 

It appears that there are people discounting this lifestyle as not feasible. My comment to this is that first of all what were they eating? Were they getting enough calories and nutrition to properly sustain themselves? And because they did not, they claimed it does not work.

This goes to show the importance of making wise and informed choices. Let's get educated on the subject and not make unsubstantiated claims.

 

As an individual I believe that everyone is unique and throughout our lives we have many journeys and paths. When it comes to food and activity choices, well that is just it. Choices. They are our choices. No one has the right to tell us what to eat and in turn it is not our right to criticize anyone for their choices.

 

Sometimes I see mean criticism on Youtube videos in the raw food world and please don't involve me with that. I grew up in an uber critical family and have been trying to find self love ever since.

 

There is a difference between an objective scholarly critique and schoolyard meanness.

Back to the importance of compassion for one another. We can make the world a kinder place by living as an example. Others see this and get inspired!

 

Let's be an inspiration!
